    • List & name of equipment and machinery used with the number & installed capacity;
    • Analysis of water report to be used in the process to confirm the portability;
    • Authority letter from the manufacturer nominated a responsible person’s full name and address;
    • A copy of the certificate was obtained under the Coop Act, 1861 or the Multi-State Coop Act, 2002.

    • Duly completed & signed Form-B;
    • Processing unit plan showing the dimensions & operation-wise area allocation;
    • List of Partners or Directors or Proprietor with address, contact details & photo ID;
    • List & name of equipment and machinery used with the number & installed capacity;
    • An authority letter from the manufacturer nominated a responsible person’s name & address;
    • Source of raw material for meat, milk, etc;
    • Analysis of water report to be used in the process to confirm the portability;
    • Recall plan wherever applicable;
    • NOC or PA document issued by FSSAI;
    • IE Code issued by DGFT;
    • Form IX;
    • Declaration Form;
    • Ministry of Commerce Certificate for 100% EOU;

    • Certificate from Ministry of Tourism.

    Online Procedure for FSSAI Registration in India

    The following is the online process for FSSAI Registration in India:

    Step 1: Filing Application Form: For Online FSSAI Registration, the applicant needs to file Form-A (application for Basic Registration) or Form-B (application for State & Central License) on the FoSCoS portal. The Food Business Operators or FBOs can also register offline by submitting Form-A or Form-B to the Food & Safety Department.

    Step 2: Documentation: After filing the application you need to upload all the documents online on the portal to the Food & Safety Department along with the application physically. The application form for FSSAI Registration can be accepted/it may be rejected by the FSSAI Department within 7 days from the Receipt Date of an application either physically or online via the FoSCoS portal. If the application for FSSAI is rejected it has to be intimated to the applicant in writing.

    Step 3: Examination & Inspection: The Department will examine all the documents submitted. Also, the Department may conduct an inspection of the food premises, before granting the FSSAI Registration Certificate (if required).

    Step 4: Issuance of FSSAI Registration Certificate: If the Food Department is satisfied that the FBO or Food Business Operator meets all the required criteria, then it will issue an FSSAI Registration Certificate with the Registration Number & the photo & email id of the applicant.

    Note: Food Business Operator should display the FSSAI Registration Certificate at the business place during business hours.
